30 days of Night and Nightdance...

The art and drawings from "Night Dance" tells three different stories that merge into one at the end. The different scenes give an impression of danger, the normal life of a young girl, and an abandoned place.  In “30 Days of Night" it talks about one topic only. That topic is the artwork. That is one of the difference between the two works.  They are similar to the fact that they both are comics and have similar drawings and scenes.  But they have different messages or meanings that they are attempting to convey.  The art in "Night Dance " is somehow the same as "30 Days of Night ". But they both have different meanings but similar drawings. For example in "30 Days of Night " they show a dark cloud with snowflakes, all abandoned in the middle of nowhere.  Similarly in "Night Dance " there is a scene where both characters , Marcie and Ryan, are located somewhere abandoned with the moon shining bright and no one around just like in "30 Days of Night".  Another scene in "30 Days of Night " that is similar to "Night Dance" is when two officers are sitting in the patrol car driving and talking; similar to when Marcie and Ryan are talking in the car when they were driving to Russellville. There are differences in the artwork in both stories.  One example is present in "30 Days of Night" when one of the vampires ends up dyeing by splattering blood all over.  While in "Night Dance" Marcie dies slowly. Another example is when the two cops are in the car wearing cop uniforms in "30 Days of Night " and in "Night Dance" Marcie and Ryan are wearing regular clothes.  Another example of difference between the art work is the vampire and the guy who kidnapped Ben. There face is completely different one obviously looks like a vampire and the other one looks like he is a murderer.
